WHAT IS LOOFAH?
A loofah is a natural exfoliating sponge that is made from the fibrous skeleton of the dried fruit of a plant in the cucumber family. When the loofah fruit is mature, it is harvested, peeled, and the seeds are removed to reveal a mesh-like network of fibers. These fibers are then cleaned, sanitized, and shaped into a sponge.
